"Spicy, cedary, herbal notes intermixed with red and black currants and some background oak make for a medium-bodied, well-made St.-Emilion that will drink nicely for 10-12 years". 87 points. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate (Feb 2009).

Dense ruby/purple, with sweet blackberry and black currant fruit with hints of smoke, espresso roast, and new saddle leather, this is another impressively endowed but tannic, backward style of wine. 91 points. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate.

Closed but promising, this is a tannic, masculine style of wine in 2006, with an inky bluish/purple color as well as aromas of incense, charcoal, smoked meats, and the classic creme de cassis that one finds in the top Pauillacs. 92 points. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate.
