On price/quality ratio, very hard to beat
Luscious, fruit driven , drinking beautifully right now but has the tannins that will certainly allow it to keep. This wine has the "deliciousness factor" in spades. Lovely deep purple colour, super ripe black fruit flavours with a nice acid balance.
I had forgotten how lovely gamay can be , this is a great expression of the grape. At this price , the quality represented , this wine is an absolute steal. It was wonderful with a rib iof beef stew and a camebert to follow.
