Great value for this easy-drinking claret, well balanced with notes of blackcurrant fruit, cedar and black pepper.
"Incredibly good value early-drinking Claret. The Chateau Le Fregne has a firm structure, and all the savoury woody notes you expect from red Bordeaux, but you can drink it now. Bordeaux this good is hard to come by at such a fantastic price, so don’t miss out! "

Crozes Hermitage 'Les Jalets' comes from 6 hectares of vineyard, on a stony plain of glacial origin. Its name comes from the word 'jalets' which is the Old French word for the pebbles left by alpine glaciers, as can be found at Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Attractive bright ruby with a violet hue, aromas of red berries and spices follow through to a palate which is smooth and rich, finishing with liquorice notes.

Deep ruby red with purple hints and a complex and refined nose of red berry fruits married with notes of wood and spice - notably freshly ground black pepper. The palate boasts a nice balance of flavours with blackcurrant and redcurrant combined with spices and a hint of game and coffee. A beautiful structure with velvety tannins which would complement a beef tagine to perfection.

Fresh intensity of redcurrant and spice flavours show just how good value and quality the grape is capable of in the Loire. Ideally served very slightly chilled.

Hot and dry summers in the 'garrigue' landscape of Corbières give this chunky red (made from 70% Mourvedre and the rest Syrah and Grenache ) a whiff of rosemary and thyme alongside the blackberry and plum flavours.

This expressive wine shows plenty of dark fruit characters with warming spice and pepper notes.

This is a fantastic value introduction to the Fitou style with a rich core of savoury black fruit.

The climate in the Ardèche, to the west of the Rhône, certainly suits Chardonnay. This is a fine example with creamy, buttery and nutty characteristics with a good long finish.

A highly concentrated Cabernet plentiful with blueberry and blackberry fruits and a silky chocolatey edge.
