"This wine arrived in Majestic last autumn but an embarrassment of good syrah (and indeed good Majestic wines) has meant that I haven’t mentioned it until now. It’s quintessential Crozes, from a good, ripe vintage, with an almost menthol, tingling smell that hits you high in the nose. Dark and finessed and haunting. Try it with a lamb and prune tagine.
