Grape

Sauvignon Blanc

Origin
Fermentation was carried out gradually in a temperature-controlled environment that allowed extraction of a large quantity of fruit and mineral fragrances. After fermentation the wine was allowed to rest on its lees for 4 months and subjected to bâtonnage.
Taste
Grapefruit, lime and peach aromas leap from the glass, followed with crisp, citrus flavours on the palate. A refreshing acidity is matched by a zingy finish.
Enjoy
Perfect for drinking either on its own or with light seafood dishes.

    Very, very nice wine.

Bargain price, lovely clean taste, and easy to drink with or without food.

    Hmm! Not nice

I purchased several Chilean SB's to explore the differences, I normally stick to NZ, especially Marlborough. Sadly the only thing that leapt from the glass was ugh followed by - well nothing much at all. I have another bottle of this and perhaps it will be better. Either way I will report back. As for now I am hoping the others are better because this was not nice at all, sorry.

Outstanding Quality at this Price Point

Wonderful. This is our staple Sauv Blanc, beats the proliferation of NZ Sauv Blancs hands down. Consistent, and excellent value for money. Goes equally well with or without food.

You get what you pay for

A bit bitter, nothing special, but not bad.

    first class wine

As a long-standing Majestic customer, I know their wines knock spots off any supermarket wine at any price. This Yali is without doubt one of the very best whites we've ever had. A great discovery and a real pleasure. 10/10

Crisp, a winner for this summer!

As they state that good wine does not need to be expensive, this is a great example for this Sauvignon blanc. Great palate and bouquet, crisp and a lovely aftertaste. A winner and far above many other wines of the same price.

  • A great value wine

"Lifted and grassy herbacious aromas and the faintest hint of minerality waft from the glass, leading to a zesty and fresh palate of virant green-fruits and citrus. A bargain at the price"
