Origin
Sourced from the Maipo Valley, one of the northerly growing regions of Chile, the grapes for this wine achieve perfect ripeness. Planted on the granite foothills of the Andes Mountains, grapes experience long sunny days before the temperature plummets overnight.
Taste
A robust and intense, fleshy aroma with plum, cassis, brooding fruits and spices. Complex and powerful flavours of black fruits and earthy spices, ripe powerful tannins and an long finish.
Enjoy
Drinking well now and with immense promise for short to mid-term cellaring. Try with rare steak, wild venison or game casserole.

    Big and beautiful

    Somehow, the Majestic machine only me only 3 stars, when this is at least 4. A Winemaker's Lot IS a happy one. I could drink this red till the cows come home. But then, I wouldn't notice the cows. It is full, red, great with meat and makes a dinner party worth celebrating. It's Parkered, but great.

    More like wine than a fruit salad!

    I bought this as part of the mixed case. I wanted something nicer than swigging plonk and something that didn't sound (and taste) more like a fruit salad than a wine. So far I have only tried the Chardonnay and this Syrah from the mixed case but both are just what I had hoped for at the price and I would certainly buy them both again in the future.
