Sauvignon Blanc

Origin
Produced in Chile's central valley, the main growing area and home to internationally renowned Chilean wines. Bordered on the East by the Andes mountains and the West by the Pacific Ocean, the ideal ripening conditions produce consistent quality wines every year.
Taste
Youthful, lively and fresh, with aromas of limestone, tropicana, citrus, capsicum and freshly mown hay. An uplifting an vibrant palate of fresh, fruity and zesty flavours with citrus and mineral acidity.

    Amazing Value

    This lovely wine only misses out from a fifth star because it lacks the 'gooseberry nose' of the best Sauvigon Blancs from N.Z. and the Rhone.. Having read other reviews disparaging this wine, I wonder if they have been drinking a different year: I speak of the 2011, very young but full of zest. Superb value for money.

    Not at all bad for £4.99!

    This isn't half bad for £4.99 a bottle. If it was more expensive I'd have few gripes (like the other reviewers of this wine!) but it's great value for the money. A thumbs up from me and worth a 3.5 star.

    Elba Inn

    I'm with Jim. A wee bit sherberty (is that a word?) for me. The chardonnay is great though.

    Top notch value.

    This wine is well worth it for what it is. If I can keep thirsty mouths satisfied and supplied in the summer for £4.00 a bottle then that'll do for me.
