Made by ex-New Zealanders who settled in the Barossa Valley, the Spinifex focus is on producing regional wines from Mediterranean varieties, such as this GSM, made from Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvédre. A rich nose of blackberry, blueberry and plum fruit, mingled with smoky white pepper notes and exotic spices. A juicy palate, loaded with dark berries, hints of cassis, and complex earthy spices.
