With a fresh nose, which is typical Leeuwin, of dried pear, peach, cashew and intergrated French oak. These flavours combine into a finely balanced bouquet; the result of very low yielding vines matched with subtle winemaking to preserve the richness of the fruit. The palate displays the mouth filling and intense flavours one would expect from a successful vintage with a level of richness few wines possess coming from physiologically ripe grapes and lees stirring. This has a long citrussy finish and would be a great match to full-flavoured fish dishes.
