This wine will go with anything, with it consistent and well balanced taste it will suit most palates. A definite beginners wine.
Just like aussie reds used to be - full of flavour. But the world has moved on...
Personally I'd rather spend a little more (assuming it is discounted) and get something more interesting.
Classic new world red. Full with ripe berry fruits and low on tannin. Each year is utterly consistent. Fantastic value if reduced to a fiver but a bit pricey if you pay the full whack.
