Mitolo G.A.M Shiraz 2007 McLaren Vale, South Australia

G.A.M is named in honour of the Mitolo family's three children, Gemma, Alex and Marco, and comes from the 'Chinese Block' vineyard in the Willunga district of McLaren Vale. The wine displays great fullness, with huge aromas of dried spices, blackcurrant and coffee.

The nose shows classic varietal aromas of stewed plum, blackberry and violets, the palate is smooth and inviting, filled with ground coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate characters mingling with classic blackcurrant fruit.

Since its inaugural vintage in 1951, Grange has grown into a true icon of Australian winemaking. Huge weight and power, with a complex palate of chocolatey dark fruit and notes of rhubarb and fennel. Will age gracefully for over 20 years.
