Technically, this wine is a 'Malbec/Malbec' blend - with 50% of the fruit coming from vineyards at 700m above sea level and 50% coming from 1,100m.
"This is a perfect example of great value Argentinian Malbec for everyday drinking. Combining grapes from two different altitudes has created a wine with lovely structure, tasty black fruit flavours, and lingering notes of vanilla and spice. I like to drink this with sausage and mash or steak in black peppercorn sauce. Try it!"

With grapes sourced from different microclimates from different altitudes to accentuate the unique Argentinian terroir, this is benchmark Malbec made by the Catena family, whose name is synonymous with quality.
"This is one of my favourite Argentinian Malbecs and shows perfectly why Argentinian wines are being increasingly recognised in the UK. With ample blackberry fruit and the renowned peppery spice of quality Malbec, this is a great wine to enjoy with a barbecue and friends, if the weather permits!"
