  Great value Burgundy

  This is a fantastic little introduction to white Burgundy and way better than most examples you'd get at £7.99. The balance is perfect and the class of Potel really shows. A very pleasant suprise at this price point and I'll definitely be buying more.

  Great value burgundy

  Unlike some Chardonnay' s this wine has a really crisp taste that makes it very easy to drink at any time.

  If this had been full price I would have been v disappointed

  As a big fan of white burgundy I bought 3 different producers. 3 different prices. With the discount this one came in the same as the macon from Jadot. I have to say I preferred the Jadot. Richer more opulent than the Potel. I found the first bottle of the Potel a little acidic. I thought it would soften in the glass but it did not. For the reduced price it's ok but at 11.99 there are way better burgundies for your money. In fact much better chardonnay full stop.

  Great wine - until Majestic pumped the price up...

  First tried this lovely Burgundy at the end of 2011 when it was £7.99 a bottle (normal price). Since it was featured on 'Saturday Morning Kitchen' the price seems to have shot up to £11.99 which is poor value.

  2009 better than 2010

  I collected two cases recently and only noticed that one was 2009 and one 2010. The 2009 is definitely better than the 10, but both good value at under a 10er.
