    A secret gem

Bought off the back of the other two reviews (thank you!) we were still surprised at just how good this was. Very smooth and tangy, it tastes much more expensive than the price tag. A strong flavour going down with a light, almost watery after-taste.

    Fantastic Sauvignon Blanc

Goldwater SB lives with the very best, so why pay for the French sancerre label or the outragously priced NZ Cloudy Bay. Wonderful citrus flavours yet classically balanced. Highly recommended.

    Fantastic

I bought this on the back of previous reviews. Everyone who tasted it asked where I got it from and praised it. Job done. Everyone satisfied.

    5* at the price

Don't know how Medoc came up with a 2* 'Not bad' review on this. Really zesty, characterful Kiwi SB that avoids the thin and acidic cliché by offering some interesting side notes of nettle, along with the elderberry leaf noted by Majestic. Like a toned-down version of Saint Clair's Pioneer Block sauv blancs, which are exceptional.

"Goldwater is better known for its Waiheke Island wines, but this Marlborough Sauvingon Blanc is very tasty, too, especially at the two bottle price of £5.99. Classic notes of green bean, gooseberry and a hint of wet stones make this a tangy, refreshing delight. 88 points"
