Rioja Crianza Vendimia Seleccionada 2008 Marqués de Cáceres
We ordered this wine some years ago during a family meal in a Glasgow restaurant and enjoyed it immensely. I tracked it down to Majestic at a very affordable price compared to the restaurant and a case of 12 bottles has become the cornerstone of my godson's birthday gift each year, particularly convenient as I live in London and he lives in West Lothian! 4/5 on a personal basis as I am a bigger fan of the heavy, fuller bodied French reds but this is an eminently drinkable wine. 10/10 to Majestic for customer service as the case turns up bang on time every year and I am kept fully informed of the progress of the order ........ and this wine currently carries a 20% discount, a Scotsman's second favourite word after 'free'!
