A nose of fruitcake, spice and ripe, plummy fruit. Soft and rich on the palate, with blackcurrants, plum, and smoky cedarwood.

    New College Oxford

    New College Oxford have been keeping this wine in their cellars for a number of years. Those Dons know a thing or two about good french wines. Great value for money!

    A top drop.

    I've just been given a bottle of this wine as a present. I have to say it was a really lovely change from the normal wine I drink. I really enjoy a good French red and this was an exceptionally good one. it didn't overpower the palette and gave some really complex tastes which lingered nicely. I'll be looking out for this one and will hopefully obtain a few cases for the whole family to enjoy.

    Superb wine for the money!

    Brilliant bordeaux. Excellent balance of tannins and fruit and great concentration. Congratulations to the British owners of this chateau. I'll be back for more. By the way, the 2003 chateau matured wine was stunning, pity it's sold out!

    The 2004 Ch Meaume

    I actually purchased the 2004 vintage . Great wine for money. Smooth & a good finish.Classic Bordeaux. Would buy this again.

    Excellent value for money

    First impressions were of its fine colour and its smooth quality. Further acquaintance confirmed it to be an excellent wine and very good value for money. I shall certainly try another case.

    A great Bordeaux 2004

    Quite amazing for the money-I am never ashamed to produce this at a party. We even preferred it to a 2000 Lynch BAges at the last outing.
