A rather smooth operator
Had this wine with a pork joint and it led to quite an interesting discussion across the table. It's profile suggests 'dry' but I have to say that this did not come across as being that dry. It was very smooth and surprisingly full bodied on the palate. It did not really have a lingering dry taste but a subtle aromatic finish that was very pleasant. The body was very much composed of fruits such as melon, pineapple and lychees. I would rate this as a less-than-dry Voignier and good value for money if you buy two bottles @ £7.99 each.
