" It has to be said, that this is the bees knees of Sancerres. An intense bouquet of pear drops, limes, flint and wet grass. The palate is unbelievably rich, but kept in balance by the limey acidity. Pears and green apples dominate on the palate, with the tongue tingling acidity and flavour of limes following up. Unbelievably refreshing and palate cleansing, the wine finishes long and clean."

"Wow! What a wine. I simply adore whites from the Rhone, and the 2004 Hermitage Blanc from Jaboulet is no exception. With a rich nose of waxed lemons, flowers and nuances of sweet Acacia honey, the wine delivers a big, fat and full bodied palate that finishes off with some tongue tingling acidity. Its a wine that is stunning now, but will benefit from 3 - 5 years in the cellar."

Before your wine arrives in the UK you will have the option to specify duty-paid delivery to an address of your choice, but you will need to pay a release fee to cover duty, VAT and handling at the prevailing rates.
