Grape

Malbec, Touriga Nacional

Origin
An intriguing blend of mature-vine Malbec with the traditional Port grape, Touriga Nacional, in a dry and fruit-driven style. Although grown in the Andean foothills, the Douro Valley influence is immediately evident in this blend, with its dark hue and earthy nose.
Taste
Heady violet and mulberry aromas fill the nose, and the rich black fruit from both Malbec and Touriga Nacional combine on the palate to dominate and leave a rich, long finish.
Enjoy
The dense, full nature of this interesting blend make it open to a large array of dishes, but try with rich or spicy casserole.

Bags of great flavours. A wow wine.

This is my favourire red wine. It has bags of great flavours which are long lasting. Probably a result of a combination of the Malbec and Touriga National vines, but who cares how it got there. Excellent vale for money. A wow wine. Exceptional value for money.

The unusual combination of Malbec and Touriga Nacional is an excellent combination. Whilst you can taste the powerful dark plummy fruit of the malbec, there is just a hint on the nose of port and a softening of the malbec. Have just ordered some more.

A thoroughly enjoyable wine - well worth trying!

The wine has many complex tastes running through it with a satisfying long finish. This is an unusual combination of grapes resulting in an excellent bottle of wine. I will definitely be drinking this again.
