Origin
Although Chile has historically favoured other red varieties, the Central Valleys of Chile are becoming known as a home to some great value, high-quality Syrah. This is a nicely balanced example, made with medium-temperature fermentation and only partial oak maturation.
Taste
Deep purple-tinged ruby red, and showing intense aromas of blackcurrant, with hints of black pepper and spice. A juicy, fresh palate with taut yet forgiving tannins, and a soft finish.
Enjoy
Enjoy with merguez sausage, seasoned lamb chops, or spaghetti and beef meatballs.
