Origin
Don Maximiano Errázuriz founded Viña Errázuriz in 1870 in the Valle de Aconcagua, 100 kms north of the capital city, Santiago. He realised that the cool, rainy winters and hot, dry summers combined with Pacific breezes to make it an ideal area to grow grapes.
Taste
An attractive colour with an aromatic nose of cherries, floral notes and a touch of mint. The fresh palate displays fruit that is well-balanced by smoky nuances from the oak ageing.
Enjoy
A smooth, silky mouthfeel make this an excellent partner to roast pork or fillet of salmon.

    "Errazuriz aren't really noted for their Pinot, but this has a fine, delicate colour, with spicy and gently vegetal notes of rhubarb and beetroot. The palate has lovely sweetness of fruit, the strawberry edges melding with more earthy notes. Fabulously sweet focus and precsion at the £7.49 price until the end of May 2011, when you but two. Rating: 88/100 Goes with: Duck & Mild game, Chicken."
