Origin
Black Muscat, an under-appreciated Muscat variety, one of the very few black-skinned Muscats. Elysium is Greek for Heaven, a fitting association for this excellent wine made by Andrew Quady.
Taste
Virtually black in colour, with a rose-like aroma, very intense on the palate and full of fantastic rich velvety fruit.
Enjoy
One of the few wines that can stand up to chocolate puddings. Or try it poured over ice cream for the ultimate after-dinner treat!

    Keep it under your hat

    I discovered Elysium several years ago & only serve it up to close friends & family on special occasions. Other dessert wines are pleasant, but nothing rounds off a good meal like Elysium. Consequently I would appeal to readers to "Keep it under your hat", we don't want to waste it nor cause a shortage. Try some, you wont regret it!

    Intense naughtiness that inspires trouble

    This is an intense, concentrated bundle of flavours. The berries are there and some spice. A bottle of this in a large bubble bath with the lights low and some candles is the ultimate ME time.

    Best dessert wine ever

    As a dessert wine lover, I have tried many, but always come back to Elysium. It's fantastic rich flavour, and wonderful, but not cloying sweetness goes with any dessert. Do your Christmas pud a favour, and buy some of this to go with it, or your pavlova, apple pie, chocolate pudding, rhubarb crumble, pineapple tart tatin...I could go on....

    For chocolate lovers

    Intense, thick, luscious black fruit chocolate gateau! Fresh acidity, dense fruit, delicious with dark chocolate dessert
