A full mixed container of NZ Pinot Noirs provided an interesting comparison, coincidentally up against a couple of good Nuits St Georges from Burgundy. While obviously a new world Wither Hills is also clearly a classy wine. There is lots of fruit, but well balanced and not at all jammy. Laid over the top are new oak aromas, but again classily done. If this were from Burgundy we'd be ecstatic!"
