2 x Riverlands Run Sauvignon Blanc 2011 Marlborough

A superb value Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand's winemaking heartland. Grapes are sourced from a number of partner growers throughout Marlborough, and undergo a short, cool fermentation period for maximum expressiveness of fruit. Typical of Marlborough Sauvignon, the bouquet springs from the glass, offering plumes of citrus, green grass and elderflower. The palate is a burst of crisp grapefruit and gooseberry flavours. Drink with dressed salads, seafood or light risottos.

Cantina Beato Bartolomeo has concentrated its efforts in the last few years on increasing the quality of all aspects of their winemaking. The co-op rewards its members by analysing the grapes coming in and sharing out the proceeds in proportion to the quality delivered. A vibrant Pinot Grigio that offers much more character and class than some. Showing citrus fruit flavours and subtle floral aromas. Good acidity helps create a clean, refreshing wine. Made to be drunk within six months of purchasing this wine should be well chilled and is compatible with seafood salads and risottos.

2 x McGuigan Chardonnay 2010 South Eastern Australia

An excellent value Australian Chardonnay with lifted pineapple, citrus and melon aromas complemented by vanilla overtones. Soft and full on the palate, generous tropical fruit flavours are joined with spicy oak notes. This would be well suited with rich seafood or classic poultry dishes.

2 x Durius Natural Reserve Tempranillo 2005/2006 Arribes del Duero

The Durius vineyard is situated in the very heart of the Arribés del Duero Natural Park, a vast Natural Reserve spanning 200 sq km, where nearby the river Duero flows majestically by. Their aim is to protect the natural environment and promote quality grapes. A bright ruby colour with an intense fruity flavour and a hint of spice on the nose. Soft and rich with smooth tannins and heaps of jammy, dark fruit flavours combined with a subtle use of oak. Enjoy with hearty food such as sausages or lamb casserole.

2 x McGuigan Shiraz 2010/2011 South Eastern Australia

A delicious smooth drinking wine from South Eastern Australia with berry and plum fruit flavours intermingled with liquorice and black pepper notes. The finish is rounded off with cedar and spicy oak tannins, making this superb example of Aussie Shiraz the ideal partner to grilled meat dishes or a rich sausage casserole.

2 x Santa Rita 120 Carmenère 2012 Rapel Valley

Santa Rita's 120 range has been named in tribute to 120 freedom fighters who sheltered at the Santa Rita winery during Chile's war of independence in 1814. The Carmènère is sourced from a range of vineyard sites throughout Chile's Central Valley. A lively and juicy representation of this variety, with a soft and supple texture, bright brambly fruit and subtle notes of spice and tobacco leaf, and a hint of vanilla from 6 months' in French oak. Enjoy with simple pasta dishes, grilled lamb chops or simply on its own.
