Viré-Clessé 2009/2010 Pasquier Desvignes

This is a great price tag for such a good Viré-Clessé. The nose exudes fresh and delicate aromatics of tropical fruits, which give way to subtle minerality on the palate and intense flavours of fresh stone fruit.

Viognier Réserve Spéciale 2010 Gérard Bertrand, Vin de Pays d'Oc

Pale yellow in colour, with intense aromas of white flowers. The palate is rich and lush with tropical fruits, dried apricots, hazelnuts and honey.

Vignes de Nicole Chardonnay Viognier 2009/2010 Les Domaines Paul Mas, Vin de Pays d'Oc

The Chardonnay and Viognier grapes for this blend were fermented separately, with the intention of maximizing the characteristics of each in the final wine. The result is delicious, with mango, pineapple and vanilla characters and a long finish.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this is an elegant and complex wine full of plum, red berry and sweet spice characters with vanilla, anise and chocolate notes on the finish.

This is a rich, full bodied wine showing great concentration of flavour. With juicy black fruit on the nose and palate backed up by a smoky sandalwood character.

Vieux Château Certan 2007 Pomerol

On the nose this shows fresh, ripe, subtle notes of black-skinned fruit - dark cherry and plum with hints of dark chocolate. The palate is almost crunchy with wonderfully fresh fruit. Perfumed, elegant, black stone fruit flavours spread across the palate.

Vallée Blanche Malbec 2010 PGI Pays d'Oc

This Malbec has been produced in a small area close to St. Chinian. It strikes an excellent balance between the traditionally robust and tannic wines of Cahors and the more fruit driven Malbecs from the New World.

Valençay Le Clos du Château 2009/2010 Claude Lafond

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, the wine was matured on it's lees to add depth of flavour and a very light natural spritz. Crisp, fresh and attractively complex with aromas of white fruits and flowers.

Vacqueyras 2010 Domaine de la Garrigue

Ripe blackberries, cherries, spice and suggestions of dried herbs. Rich and full bodied, with flavours of ripe plums, black cherries and hints of spices and liquorice, a soft mouthfeel and long finish.
