  Very good value

  Very good at the offer price of £6.99. I tasted it at a friend's house last Saturday and ordered 24 bottles yesterday. Just tried the first and it confirmed my opinion. It is a food wine but still enjoyable on its own.

  Good wine

  A nice medium bodied wine with nice spice and concentrated berry flavours. Good value at the discounted price. Do be sure to let it breathe for at least an hour.

  Good but not great

  Certainly not offensive to drink but doesn't offer much in comparison to other Shiraz. I think there are better buys at this price

  Domaine les Yeuses, Syarah 'Les Epices' 2007

  At £6.99 per bottle, for orders in multiples of two bottles, this is the best value red I've drunk for many years: serious quality, refined, spicey, tasting like an accomplished Rhone red and worth nearer £14 than £7 - buy now and buy a lot as I can't believe it will be around for long!

  "Terrific value for money. A bright purple core with a delicious, moreish beetroot relish flavours and a streak of oregano and thyme. A cracking Syrah with a dense, savoury and persistent finish to boot. Rating: 91/100 Goes with: Barbecues, Charcuterie and cold meats, Duck & Mild game."
