This world-renowned grape variety has found perfect climatic conditions in the warmth of the Languedoc. The Vin de Pays d'Oc classification allows much more scope for experimentation than the more traditional regions, allowing a modern and approachable style.
Taste
Showing a lively bouquet of plum, blueberry and hints of blackcurrant on the nose, the palate is beautifully rounded, soft and juicy.
Enjoy
Not too heavy on the palate, this easy-drinking red is ideal as a party wine but is also excellent when paired with dark meat dishes.

    La Croisade Merlot

    Another excellent value Languedoc wine that conjures up holidays on the Canal Du Midi which passes by the vineyard. A slight smokiness that is great with Casssoulet and about 100 other dishes!
