The hedonistic pleasure of drinking aged white burgundy is exemplified in Domaine Leflaive's 1998 Les Pucelles. Complexity leaps out of the glass and envelops with truffles, ripe peaches, flora and hints of honey, leading to a subtly soft, exotic and delicate palate. Never overwhelming, the harmonious balance of texture and fruit leads to a prolonged finish.
