Not really what I expected from a Malbec
I'm used to Argentinian Malbecs - rich, berry flavours with a vanilla aroma. This was my first French Malbec and I was a bit surprised to find that it tasted a lot lighter than I was expecting. More like a Merlot or light Gamay. It's still pleasant to drink; I've bought two bottles so might try aging the unopened one for a little bit before opening.
