  disappointing

  I used to be a big fan of Jackson Estate, but they have become inconsistent. recently half a case of Grey Ghost went down my sink as it was vegetalised and basically horrible. not a producer that i fully trust anymore.

  Fantastic Sauvignon

  Only came upon this one just before Christmas, we tried to save it for the holiday drinking! alas once tried difficult to leave alone ! First tried S/B in Marlborough in New Zealand loved it then, use to it now, love it more.

  Fantastic Sauvignon Blanc for the money

  Excellent sauvignon blanc from the Jackson Estate. Is there a better one? Yes, their Grey Ghost sauvignon blanc, which I was lucky enough to purchase as a Christmas treat. It is more expensive, but is only produced in small amounts. Both are top flight in their respective price bands.

  As good as it gets

  Seriously under-valued wine, even at 5*. Knocks all the other New Zealand SB's into a <em class='sw'>cock</em>ed hat. Brilliant.

  Guaranteed

  You cannot go wrong with this wine. It's my staple and in my fridge all year round. Cl<em class='sw'>ass</em>ic SB gooseberry flavour.

  Sauvignon Blanc at its best

  "A truly fantastic example of a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. A big favourite with staff and customers alike, this is a truly elegant wine, offering a nose of citrus, peach, elderflower and gooseberry. On the palate this wine is well-balanced and intense with fantastic minerality and great length. A truly classy wine! A truly awesome match with light chicken dishes or pan-seared scallops....but equally fantastic on its own! As a treat, I also recommend Jackson's Grey Ghost Sauvignon Blanc...well worth the extra pennies!"
