Oak fermented and aged on its lees, this wine closely resembles quality oaked white Burgundy from the Côte d'Or. White fruit and lemon flavours, nuanced with hints of flowers, hazelnut and almond.

Meursault 2008 Louis Jadot

The nose is soft and broad, displaying a rounded hazelnut character. Relatively full-bodied and mouth-filling, the palate strikes a balance between crisp citrus and nutty, buttery oak.

Mâcon-Cruzille 'Le Chanay' 2009 Cave de Lugny

Crisp and elegant, this wine is awash with apple, pear and citrus characters on nose and palate. Firm acidity and a mineral streak, reminiscent of the limestone soil of the Maconnais.

An outstanding Chassagne-Montrachet with finesse, focus and rapier-like qualities. The magnificent fruit/acid balance of this wine will easily see it through another 10 years.

Viré-Clessé 2009/2010 Pasquier Desvignes

This is a great price tag for such a good Viré-Clessé. The nose exudes fresh and delicate aromatics of tropical fruits, which give way to subtle minerality on the palate and intense flavours of fresh stone fruit.

A pale yellow colour leads to a nose of white flowers and lime blossom. A harmonious and well-balanced wine, vinified without oak for a fresher character. A subtle wine with finesse and a good length.
