This estate has only bottled wines under its own name since 2000, and is one of the rising stars of Burgundy. Situated on a hilltop site between the Puligny and Meursault appellations, Blagny’s vineyards have a cool microclimate but receive great sun exposure, and this wine has intense ripeness of fruit with great concentration, accompanied by a racy acidity. With 50% aged in new oak, the texture is voluptuous and polished. Generous and hugely enjoyable now, or over the next 3-4 years.

  • Feel free to mix Fine Wines with “regular” wines to make up your order of 12 bottles (or more!) in total. However, at least 6 bottles must be Fine Wine products, because Fine Wines require special distribution from our temperature-controlled Fine Wine Centre in London. Original wooden cases not available outside the M25.

"Powerful, young Puligny with nutty oak and apple aromas and a rich, dense, concentrated palate cut through by steely acidity. It can be drunk now, but another year would allow it to open up a bit more. 92/100 "
