An unusual iberian take on claret, this offers a lush palate of warm bramble fruit and woody, nutty tannins, and heady aromas of fresh tobacco leaf and sandalwood.

A light styled example of Château Figeac. This is a wine best to be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years.

Awarded 96/100 by Robert Parker in the Wine Advocate, this is a superb example of mature claret from a top property.

Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru 2006 Domaine Dujac

This wine is part of an Exclusive Parcel secured through our Fine Wine Centre. This wine strikes a deft balance between bitter-sweet herbal (sassafras, licorice) and sweetly ripe (plum and black raspberry) fruit aspects, with peppery, peaty, Latakia tobacco pungency, and a ferrous mineral piquancy rendering it memorably distinct, especially after you've experienced this wines gripping finish. I suspect it will be worth following for 6-8 years. 91 points. David Schildknecht, The Wine Advocate.

Rioja Crianza 2007/2008 Viña Pomal

Viña Pomal is the flagship wine of Bodegas Bilbaínas, one of Rioja's oldest estates, and has now been produced for over 100 years. The winery had a bottling plant near London's Charing Cross in the 1940's, and Viña Pomal was reputed to be a favourite of Winston Churchill. Hurry, offer ends 3pm 12 March!

Côtes du Rhône 2008 Clos de Mont-Olivet

Vibrant and brimming with ripe black cherry and plenty of dark fruit. Wonderfully complex with elegant ripe tannins and a long, sweet fruit finish.

Kanonkop Paul Sauer 2008 Stellenbosch

In the best Bordeaux tradition this wine is unfiltered and offers a nose of spicy vanilla with massive ripe berries on the palate. Capable of at least a decade of bottle maturation.

Blason d'Aussières 2008/2009 Corbières

This is the second wine of Château d'Aussières, an ancient Languedoc property, which was revived by Bordeaux powerhouse Domaines Barons de Rothschild in 1997.
