Origin
Geelong is a cool wine region in the Port Philip Zone of Victoria. Today there are around 250 vine growing hectares cultivated by 30 growers, most of which are small and family-owned.
Taste
Deep garnet in colour, the lifted and perfumed nose displays notes of violets, plums and cherries. Secondary aromas of beetroot, spice and earthy characters emphasise the complexity of this wine.
Enjoy
This well-rounded wine with firm acid and fine grained tannins can be cellared for another five years.

    An Absolute Ripper

If you like New World Pinots then this is for you. A very elegant drop which I've found quite hard to find in England. A perfect blend of all thats good about this varietal, the nose full of cherry and berry followed up with a wonderfully velvet earthy smoky palate. Roast a pheasant with a few parsnips, cabbage and bread sauce, heaven.

  • "Reliable value here, proper cool climate Aussie Pinot at a great price. Leafy complexity, clean red and black fruit, well-judged oak and a screwcap to keep it all in perfect trim. One to note and rely on. You can even try serving it chilled with a tuna steak from the bar-b. Score: 89/100 "
