Deep garnet in colour, the lifted and perfumed nose displays notes of violets, plums and cherries. Secondary aromas of beetroot, spice and earthy characters emphasise the complexity of this wine, with similar flavours on the palate. With an undertone of cedar oak, this well-rounded wine with firm acid and fine grained tannins can be cellared for another five years.

"Reliable value here, proper cool climate Aussie Pinot at a great price. Leafy complexity, clean red and black fruit, well-judged oak and a screwcap to keep it all in perfect trim. One to note and rely on. You can even try serving it chilled with a tuna steak from the bar-b. Score: 89/100 "

If you like New World Pinots then this is for you. A very elegant drop which I've found quite hard to find in England. A perfect blend of all thats good about this varietal, the nose full of cherry and berry followed up with a wonderfully velvet earthy smoky palate. Roast a pheasant with a few parsnips, cabbage and bread sauce, heaven.
