2005 was a superb year for Pinot Noir in Burgundy, the wines have a ripeness, harmony and style only found in great vintages. This Morey from Lambrays has many layers of bramble fruit with an exotic spicy edge which is difficult to define. The palate is plump and polished with beautifully intergrated structure and oak, drink it over the next 8-10 years.
