Origin
The Clare Valley is a series of elevated valleys, rolling hills and wide open valley floors. It extends for 35 km and is divided into five sub-regions. A continental climate slows the ripening process and explains why aromatic whites flourish alongside intense, rich reds.
Taste
White peach, nectarine and citrus fruits leap out of the glass, preceding a ripe, mid-weight palate of peach, pineapple and a subtle cinnamon note.
Enjoy
A creamy texture and good acidity give the wine a solid backbone, making it perfect with full-flavoured white meat dishes.

  • It's a pretty elegant Aussie Chardonnay (2011 Vintage)

    "Although this may seem subdued on the nose, actually it's a pretty elegant Aussie Chardonnay - one that's not interested in being an oak bomb. It does have a teeny bit of waxy and nutty oak though, but just as prominent is the apple and melon fruit freshness. Rating: 87/100 (The Wine Gang, www.thewinegang.com November 2012)"
