Pinotage

Origin
Pinotage is South Africa's own grape and most of the world's plantings are here. This variety is a cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. The grapes for this wine have been sourced from selected vineyards.
Taste
This is a subtle and stylish wine with intense plum, mulberry and black fruit flavours. Maturation in French oak has added a soft complexity and well integrated tannins.
Enjoy
Perfect with barbecued foods.

    The taste started berryish then I got overwhelmed by the nasty metallic tang. On the basis of the wine gang review, I'm taking this one back..

    Excellent value

    I haven't had a pinotage for some time and this was a very pleasant surprise. It ticked all the boxes for an everyday red. I will be back for more.

    Good everyday drinking wine

    I have given it four stars, as fit for the purpose I mention above. I notice someone has given it one star but would respectfully suggest they took it back before reviewing it as it seems very likely from the description that his wine was corked. I buy a lot of this and would recommend it for the purpose I suggest above.

    Superb BBQ Wine

    Goes brilliantly with barbequed meats especially lamb and all types of sausages

    Bought lots

    I have now had several dozen of this excellent drinkable wine. It is now our everyday tipple especially when on offer! I think I can feel another dozen coming on!!
