2008 was a fantastic vintage in the Loire resulting in wines with intense aromatics and good depth of fruit. This wine has glorious ripe grapefruit and blackcurrant leaf notes on the nose driving through to tropical fruit and white peach on the palate. With a real depth of flavour, lively crisp acidity and a long finish this is perfect for creamy seafood dishes such as fish pie.
