A nice depth of raspberry and black cherry fruit (2008 Vintage)
"Coming off a tiny vineyard, this has a nice depth of raspberry and black cherry fruit with that classic juiciness you find in more northerly NZ Pinot Noirs. Acidity counters the thickness of the raspberry fruit, with a delicate toasty note on the finish coming from the wine's 8-month maturation in 'top quality' French barrels, 30% of which were new. Rating: 88/100 (The Wine Gang, www.thewinegang.com, August 2012)"
