Very intense ruby red colour. Nicely expressed varietal aromas with hints of black berry fruit. The palate is weighty, dense and vibrant with complex structure thanks to support of the acidity. Long and lingering with hints of chocolate, coffee and marmalade in the aftertaste. The beautifully handled tannin from the wine and wood blend making Tignanello a very complex, stylish and sophisticated wine.

However, at least 6 bottles must be Fine Wine products, because Fine Wines require special distribution from our temperature-controlled Fine Wine Centre in London. "This is a wine that needs little introduction and if anything, manages to exceed its reputation. The nose is everything one might expect; big, powerful and ripe. Hints of espresso, violets and earth accompany the dominating aromas of cherries, bitter chocolate and dried fruit. The palate continues the theme and has wonderful structure and power. This vintage is remarkably approachable for such a young wine, soft and rounded with seductively gentle tannins. This is quintessential Tignanello, and absolutely lovely."
