André Brunel is one of the area's finest winemakers, the estate, founded by his grandfather in 1919 is made up of various vineyards dotted around the appellation which average 60 years of age. Stylish with a hidden depth and structure, the finest vintages will age and develop for a decade or more. The 2005 is bursting with bright red and black fruits and on the palate one's senses are sweetly caressed – no blockbusting over extracted fruits here.
