Description

From one of the Central Coast's best vineyard sites, this has a sensational nose of apples, toast, lemon curd, roasted nuts, cinnamon and a delicate whiff of oak. It's wonderfully textured, fresh and long in the mouth: a Chardonnay that exudes class and sophistication.

    too expensive

    my wife bought this as a Xmas treat. It has a very complex and wonderfully nuanced sniff - not the billowing confection you often get from Californian chardonnay but nicely balanced. The sip is quite disappointing in comparison - balanced but thin and lacking in fruit and depth. As with so many US wines, this is massively over-priced.
