Straw-coloured yellow, full of golden highlights with clear and luminous brilliance. The nose offers floral notes of mimosa and orange blossoms, accompanied by fruity perfumes of apple and pineapple. In the background are hints of citrus, honey, flint and candied fruit. Pleasingly luscious and fresh in the mouth.
The varieties are vinified separately before belnding and maturation in French and American oak. The wine has an intense violet colour and a soft and rounded fruit profile, and can be enjoyed immediately or over the next 3-4 years.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy's most celebrated wines. Rich, powerful, tannic, superbly concentrated and heady with a huge, spicy bouquet. This wine will develop in the bottle for years to come.
Masi has been run by the Boscaini family for the past six generations, and their wines are rooted in tradition, representing the classic Venetian styles.
Wonderfully heady scents of dried fruits, tobacco and spice with awesome multi-dimensional fruit flavours on the palate.
With an exciting, complex and fragrant nose of black olive, smoked tea, cherry and plum the palate is rich, powerful and multi-layered with a food loving rasp of acidity, great texture and a long length.
The bouquet is intense, ample and elegant with hint of honey and wild flowers. Dry and smooth on the palate with good balance and an exceptionally long finish.
"The 2007 Barolo is a gorgeous wine. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2019". 89+ points. Antonio Galloni,The Wine Advocate
'All of the elements come together beautifully in the glass... layers of succulent peaches, pears, apricots, flowers and mint, along with hints of sweetness from the late-harvested fruit that is such a big component of the wine's signature style. 92 points.' Antonio Galloni, The Wine Advocate.
Intensely aromatic with flavours of white flowers and citrus fruits, kept fresh with a delicious streak of acidity.
This fine Barolo is named after the Gromis family, previous owners of the vineyard from whence it comes. Now owned by Gaja, its fruit is blended with that of another top quality vineyard in Serralunga, and is aged for a total of 24 months in oak, around half in barrique and half in old oak casks. A powerful, dense, yet lifted and floral wine, nuanced with licquorice and herb notes.
For lovers of top white Burgundy after a change this wine represents something a little different, it is developing a real cult following and demand is beginning to outstrip supply.
