Expecting minerals. Tastes more like a long island iced tea without too much coke.
Oak - yes. And that's where my problem starts.
Busy in the mouth - undeniably interesting - hints of hotel soap, tiny anise crystals and hope.
But unless you take care to remember, can taste like a 7 quid aussie.
Perhaps better off with a decent unkown, at the end of the day. And in the afternoon.
And this is not just the Maj version - so many wannabees have chased this taste that the original now resembles a parody.
Good wine. But only if you know what to expect.
Otherwise, you'll run the risk of disappointment..
