An inviting shade of pale gold, offering a rich nose of apple and peach, with hints of flowers, vanilla and pepper. The palate is fresh and ripe, with soft-edged acidity and a nutty minerality.
A stunning Chardonnay from one of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy.
From one of the very best premier cru vineyards this is a classic steely dry Chablis with a little more richness than usual due to the excellence of the vintage. The Pinson family continue to produce excellent wines that can age 4-5 years.

"Fevre’s 2007 Chablis Vaillons... evinces crushed stone from nose to finish as well as salinity, but not the savory mineral nuances that make the best wines in this collection so appealing.". 90+ points. David Schildknecht, The Wine Advocate.

Excellent Chassagne-Montrachet from this low-lying 1er Cru vineyard, made by Richard Fontaine. Superbly rounded yet firmly structured, and with an expressive personality. Ideal for drinking immediately, or over the next 2-3 years.
Ripe pear lifted by a floral element. Lively and precise on the palate, with complex flavors of lime, pear, nut oils and vanillin oak....This could only be Meursault'. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar.
The superbly situated vines of André Buisson's Meursault Le Poruzot produce fine wines that are aged for 14-18 months in wood. Opulent, rich and buttery with mineral overtones.
Another superb effort from Chassagne-Montrachet specialist Richard Fontaine. Clos St Jean lies toward the northern end of the appellation close to St Aubin, and borders a limestone quarry; evidence of the region's limestone-rich soil. The wine has notable minerality and focus, with intriguing smoky notes on the nose.
Superb length and crisp acidity show that this wine will only improve with time in bottle. Drink now until 2012.
