Grape

Cabernet Franc, Merlot

Origin
The largest estate in Pomerol and in family ownership for over five hundred years. 30-year-old vines planted on the western edge of the Pomerol appellation on limestone and clay soils. All grapes are hand harvested before being aged in oak barriques.
Taste
A perfumed nose of plum, kirsch and spice with ripe red fruits, a lightly violet and mineral scent. A soft, Merlot-dominated texture lends the wine an approachable yet opulent mouthfeel.
Enjoy
The richness and complexity of the wine make the ideal partner for mushroom ragout, rich stews or hard cheeses.
