Château Lynch-Moussas 2006 Pauillac

Château Fonplegade 2007 St Emilion Grand Cru Classé

A dark ruby/purple hue is followed by notes of blueberries, raspberries, crushed rocks, and spring flowers, medium body, a soft, silky texture, lush, ripe fruit, and a heady finish.

Les Pagodes de Cos 2001 St-Estèphe

The second wine of Cos d'Estournel, this is a clasically styled, soft and velvety St. Estephe blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Now fully mature, it exhibits the rounded fruit and voluptuous tannin for which Cos is famed, with a slimmer, more approachable profile and very subtle spice.

Château Langoa-Barton 2006 Cru Classé St-Julien

The aromas are more open here than with Léoville, expressing curranty fruit and toast. The palate is well-balanced, with ample, rich fruit capturing notes of a forest nature and a fine, yet assertive tannic frame.

Château Rieussec 2003 Sauternes, 1er Cru Classé

Now bottled they are gorgeous, rich wines and will drink well early. Generally just behind Yquem in quality Rieussec is a very fine wine indeed.

Elegant, sought-after wine that is modestly priced. Sweet blackcurrant fruit with hints of tobacco and subtle oaking.

Château d'Arche 2001 Sauternes

Made in a big, up-front, forward style, with loads of glycerin and fat, the 2001 d’Arche reveals elegant aromas of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, honeyed lemon, and a hint of coconut as well as good acidity, medium to full body and obvious botrytis. 90 points. Vieux Château Certan 2007 Pomerol

On the nose this shows fresh, ripe, subtle notes of black-skinned fruit - dark cherry and plum with hints of dark chocolate. The palate is almost crunchy with wonderfully fresh fruit. Perfumed, elegant, black stone fruit flavours spread across the palate.
