BriO de Cantenac Brown 2007 Margaux

Elegantly structured claret, with aromas of pencil lead and sandalwood, and a bramble backbone. A good level of ripeness, medium body, and tannins of a firm, taut character.

Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume 2010 Séguinot-Bordet

An intense and focused nose of stone and citrus fruits, with smoky, mineral notes and very subtle oak. Great purity on the palate, with the mineral streak adding texture and length.

The Pomerol pedigree is evident throughout this wine, which offers succulent forest fruit and ripe plum flavours, shaped by fine-grained tannins, hints of vanilla and toasted oak.

A typically Cabernet-heavy blend, this is a robust, firm and well-textured middleweight claret. Powerful blackcurrant characters predominate, while leather and cedar notes add aromatic depth.

Château Grand Corbin 1999 St-Emilion Grand Cru

Now fully mature, this wine offers an expressive nose of ripe bramble fruit, plum jam and cherry pie. The tannins are nicely softened, and frame a palate of lush, mellow fruit and spice. Drink with braised oxtail or lamb shank.

Crozes Hermitage 2010 Alain Graillot

From one of the very best producers in the region this is an excellent wine offering thick, jammy fruit flavours with a lovely complexity due to oak ageing. Ready for drinking this is a classic wine to accompany game birds, duck or goose.

Pouilly-Fuissé 'Vers Cras' 2010 Domaine Cordier

Whilst this wine may not be available from the Fine Wine Centre please check with your local store for availability. This wine reveals tangy citrus fruits creating a hugely concentrated palate with an earthy mineral complexity.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vignoble Abeille 2007 Mont Redon

A superbly balanced wine between youthful fruit and warm, oaky complexity where the nose and palate are replete with notes of cinnamon and clove amid the the dense bramble fruit.

Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Boudriottes 2008 Fontaine-Gagnard

Excellent Chassagne-Montrachet from this low-lying 1er Cru vineyard, made by Richard Fontaine. Superbly rounded yet firmly structured, and with an expressive personality. Ideal for drinking immediately, or over the next 2-3 years.

Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos St Jean 2008 Fontaine-Gagnard

Another superb effort from Chassagne-Montrachet specialist Richard Fontaine. Clos St Jean lies toward the northern end of the appellation close to St Aubin, and borders a limestone quarry; evidence of the region's limestone-rich soil. The wine has notable minerality and focus, with intriguing smoky notes on the nose.
