This excellent 1er Cru vineyard lies at the foot of 'La Tâche' and 'Les Malconsorts' and Méo-Camuzet own 2ha in total. It produces supple wines, with real finesse, fullness and charm. With wild loganberry fruit on the nose, this has a perfumed, smoky note in the glass. On the palate, the tannins are evident, but well balanced and not at all extracted. There is dark berry fruit and an almost steely mineral vein. Elegantly fresh on the finish, this is very fine indeed.
