"While rosé now enjoys a much more elevated status as a proper, grown-up wine, it still makes the perfect accompaniment to causal, al fresco entertaining and summer picnics. The south of France is a fruitful hunting ground for crisp, refreshing rosés, such as this delicious example from St Chinian, which has a crisp, raspberryish character and is sufficiently tenacious to partner a wide range of dishes with pronounced flavours, notably grilled fish or chicken."
